In a remarkable gesture of community support and solidarity, Tropicana Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Tropicana Corporation Berhad, made significant strides in its charity efforts this month. The Foundation’s volunteers reached out to two key organizations, PAWS Animal Welfare Society in Petaling Jaya and Sai Pandian Children Home in Setia Alam, in a series of events marked by generosity and compassion.
Supporting PAWS: A Gesture of Kindness for Our Furry Friends
Earlier in November, Tropicana Foundation’s volunteers dedicated their time and effort at PAWS. They engaged in a range of activities, from donating pet food to participating in the daily care of the animals. This included walking and washing dogs, cleaning cages, and various other tasks, all aimed at improving the lives of the shelter’s resident pets.
Lighting Up Lives at Sai Pandian During Deepavali
The spirit of giving continued during Deepavali, when the team from Tropicana Golf & Country Resort, representing Tropicana Foundation, visited Sai Pandian Children Home. The visit was more than just a gesture; it involved the donation of food, cash, and Deepavali red packets for the 24 children residing at the home, bringing smiles and joy during the festive season.

These two significant events marked the culmination of Tropicana’s charitable activities for November, reflecting a commitment to support and uplift various segments of the community. Dion Tan, Group Managing Director of Tropicana, eloquently expressed the essence of these initiatives, stating, “As a community builder, it is our lifetime commitment to extend our support and spread happiness to the underprivileged community– be it children, adults or even pets.”
