Trip.com Group, a top-tier travel service firm, recently announced the implementation of a range of superior services. These services are designed to empower globetrotters by leveraging the prowess of Artificial Intelligence and insights.
At the AI-oriented strategy press conference, James Liang, the Co-founder and Executive Chairman of the Board at Trip.com Group, shed light on the company’s outlook. He stated, “Tourism will continue to be an important industry in a smart society, as it satisfies people’s innate desire to travel and explore. Artificial intelligence cannot replace this experience but can help to advance it.”
Curating Travel Experiences with AI
As a move to deliver a smooth and stress-free booking experience, Trip.com Group has rolled out AI-infused curated lists. These compilations, which include “Trip.Trends,” “Trip.Best,” and “Trip.Deals,” aim to cater to the varied preferences of users. They accomplish this by providing real-time data on emerging travel patterns, competitive pricing, and leading hotels, flights, and attractions.
Personalizing Travel with Tailored Lists
Each compilation targets different customer demographics and market niches. “Trip.Best” allows international travellers to handpick the finest experiences that a destination can provide, from flights and hotels to lifestyle choices like dining and entertainment. This list is compiled through a meticulous examination of diverse travel products on Trip.com, scored via an algorithm. Only the top 1% of high-quality offerings are showcased.
“Trip.Deals” caters to budget-oriented users hunting for the best value deals on flights, accommodations, and travel destinations. It employs several factors to curate the list, such as historical and projected pricing shifts and prevailing travel expenses.
Finally, “Trip.Trends” keeps tabs on trending travel topics and events worldwide, using data from user searches across various platforms, including Trip.com, mainstream search engines, and social media.

We are delighted to launch this series which will further enable our customers to plan and book their next perfect trip, depending on their requirements and preferences.”
