Tesla, the globally recognized electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, is making a significant move into the Malaysian market. The brand has chosen GO Communications, a renowned PR and digital communication agency, to guide its entry into this new territory. This move underscores GO Communications’ standing as a market leader adept at creating engaging and groundbreaking campaigns.
The partnership doesn’t only signify a momentous progression for Tesla, it’s also a landmark achievement for GO Communications and Malaysia at large. Tesla’s grand entrance into the Malaysian automotive scene suggests a shift toward a future driven by sustainable, electric mobility.
GO Communications’ CEO, Peter de Kretser, expressed his gratitude towards Tesla for their vote of confidence. He declared, “To be chosen as Tesla’s official agency for their Malaysian expansion is undoubtedly a significant achievement for GO Communications. Tesla’s trust in our capabilities is humbling.”
De Kretser emphasized the importance of making an unforgettable first impression. He said, “My team and I are thrilled at the chance to introduce Tesla to Malaysia, ensuring this exceptional brand receives the prominence and recognition it truly deserves.”
After months of eager anticipation from media, industry leaders, government officials, and EV aficionados, Tesla’s Model Y was launched at the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur last Thursday.
In a further testament to its industry leadership, GO Communications was recently engaged by ANGKASA-X for the launch of its A-SEANSAT-PG1 satellite, a home-grown Malaysian satellite, which was successfully deployed at the Vostochny Cosmodrome on 27th June.
