Seoul, July 25, 2024 – Spotify, the world’s leading audio streaming subscription service, has released its highly anticipated ‘2024 South Korean Music Global Impact List’. This prestigious list honors the top 30 tracks by South Korean artists that have made a significant global impact in the first half of 2024, with streams outside of South Korea.
The track “Magnetic” by ILLIT secured the top position as the most streamed track outside of Korea. Following closely, BTS member V’s “FRI(END)S” clinched the second spot, while LE SSERAFIM’s “Smart” and “EASY” took the third and fourth positions, respectively. BABYMONSTER’s “SHEESH” rounded out the top five.
Notably, BTS members made a dominant presence with six tracks on the list. Alongside V’s hit, Jung Kook’s “Never Let Go” ranked #9, j-hope’s “NEURON (with Gaeko & YOON MIRAE)” and “i wonder… (with Jung Kook of BTS)” landed at #11 and #27, respectively. Additionally, RM’s tracks “Come back to me” and “LOST!” were positioned at #19 and #22.
LE SSERAFIM also showcased their prowess with three tracks on the list, including MAX’s “STUPID IN LOVE (feat. HUH YUNJIN of LE SSERAFIM)” at #10. Other notable entries include BABYMONSTER, aespa, (G)I-DLE, and TWICE, each contributing two songs to the list.

In conjunction with this announcement, Spotify’s Loud & Clear 2024 report provided key insights into South Korean streaming data. In 2023, South Korean artists were discovered by first-time listeners nearly 2.2 billion times on Spotify. Over 3,600 Korean artists were added to Spotify editorial playlists, generating royalties exceeding KRW 180 billion (USD 138 million).
Spotify’s Global Impact List continues to underscore the global influence of South Korean music, showcasing the dynamic and ever-expanding reach of its artists.
