Further East 2024: APAC’s Leading Luxury Travel Event Returns to Bali for Its Fifth Edition

Asia-Pacific’s definitive event for luxury travel, Further East, is set to launch its highly anticipated fifth edition in Bali, Indonesia, from 4-8 November 2024. The immersive four-day event will bring together leading buyers, exhibitors, and media from the luxury travel sector, promising attendees an unparalleled opportunity to connect, collaborate, and explore the future of high-end travel across the APAC region.

A Unique Experience for APAC’s Luxury Travel Leaders

Further East 2024 stands out as Asia-Pacific’s only region-specific luxury travel networking event, offering a blend of formal and informal interactions through a series of meetings, activations, and social gatherings. Attendees can expect an engaging, immersive experience featuring thought-provoking discussions, showfloor activations, and two spectacular evening parties.

Sophia Asghar, Associate Event Director, emphasized the importance of the event’s partnership with iconic Bali venue Desa Potato Head, which will once again host Open House, Further East’s signature gathering space. Desa Potato Head, recently listed on the World’s 50 Best Hotels 2023, is celebrated for its naturalistic design, wellness programs, and vibrant live entertainment.

“We’ve worked very closely with Desa Potato Head since Further East’s first event in 2018,” Asghar said. “This year, we’re growing that partnership. Not only will they play host to Open House, but also our opening party, where our delegates will mingle and enjoy drinks, a DJ, and a special theme we’re yet to reveal.”

Introducing Amplify: Asia-Pacific, Amplified

Further East has unveiled the names of its stages for 2024, each representing a unique environment for business and thought leadership. The main stage, Amplify, will feature trailblazing speakers from across the APAC luxury travel industry, aligning with this year’s theme, Asia-Pacific Amplified. The stage is set to inspire conversations on how the APAC region can reshape the global luxury travel market.

For those seeking a more hands-on experience, Masterclass will provide intimate, workshop-style sessions led by industry experts, while The Circle will foster dynamic debates between delegates, speakers, and moderators. Each space reflects the event’s commitment to a more casual, APAC-centric approach to business networking.
