Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek confidently announced that schools set to be utilized as polling centres for the upcoming six state elections are completely ready to facilitate the process. The assertion was made during a press conference following the inauguration of Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Pulau Beluru as a Comprehensive School (K9).
In her words, the minister assured that the involved schools are prepared from an infrastructure and facility standpoint. The ministry’s prompt response after the dissolution of the state assemblies in the six states was highlighted as a testament to their readiness. They plan to collaborate closely with the Election Commission to make necessary arrangements.
Minister Sidek dispelled any doubts by stating, “We are accustomed to facing state or general elections, so I don’t foresee any issues. We stand ready and vigilant to handle the elections.”
Her comments came following Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob’s announcement that the Kelantan State Assembly will dissolve on June 22, setting the stage for the state election.
