HKT’s digital ventures wing welcomes Felix Tsui, former VP of strategy planning and execution, as its new Chief Strategy Officer. Tsui now reports directly to Monita Leung, the CEO of HKT’s digital ventures.
Tsui will steer the company’s web3 projects, digital products, and strategies across its fintech, eCommerce, and loyalty businesses, all under HKT’s digital venture portfolio. His recent project is a financial solution shortlisted by The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA). This solution uses tokenised real assets and is part of the debut e-HKD Pilot Programme.

Led by Boston Consulting Group, HKT Payment, and ZA Bank, the solution development sees the involvement of paywith.glass and Venture Smart Financial, forming a diverse consortium. The programme aims to use the e-HKD’s potential to innovate applications in a secure lending product.
Felix Tsui, who joined HKT in 2021, has an extensive background in strategic planning, including being PICSO’s founder and VP of Schneider Electric’s construction SaaS. His promotion follows a management reshuffle at HKT, notably the departure of Alan Tsui, former CEO of loyalty, digital, and analytics.
Tsui’s decision to leave to pursue personal goals has been confirmed by an HKT spokesperson, assuring a successor will be appointed in the future. This news is based on Marketing Interactive.
