In a significant move within the corporate sector of the Asia Pacific, Smita Murarka, a renowned name in the brand consultancy realm, has taken up the mantle as Director at Deloitte. This transition comes after her impactful tenure with sleep solutions giant, Duroflex, and her independent consultancy work emphasizing Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands.

  • Previous Engagements: Her rich experience includes a significant stint as the Marketing Head for amante lingerie at MAS Holdings and roles with prominent brands like the Landmark Group and Lifestyle International.

Delving deeper into her professional journey, Murarka’s association with Duroflex stands out. Joining as the VP of Marketing & E-Commerce in February 2020, she quickly rose to the position of Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing both Corporate & Brands Digital. Her leadership was pivotal in transforming Duroflex from a regional player in a segmented market to a national brand with a strong online and offline presence.
