Tata Chemicals ushers in a new era in its human resources leadership, appointing Rahul Pinjarkar as the successor to the recently superannuated CHRO, R Nanda. Effective from June 1, Pinjarkar’s appointment cements his position in the HR world, marking a significant transition for the company.
Pinjarkar, a seasoned professional in the Tata Group, formerly led the HR division at Trent Hypermarkets Ltd. With a commendable tenure of nearly 24 years, his resume is embellished with stints across various reputed organisations such as Novartis, Philips, ICICI Prudential, and Saint Gobain.
Known for his ability to generate competitive advantage through people, Pinjarkar’s industry experience spans over two decades across varied sectors. His adept handling of diverse policies, approaches, and business temperaments illustrates his prowess in transforming companies into preferred employers.
As Nanda passes the baton, he will not cut ties completely but will remain involved with the Tata Group in an advisory role, ensuring a seamless transition. His valuable input of over 17 years with the group will certainly assist in this transitional period.
