With a rich tapestry of over 30 years in retail, sourcing, business analysis, and strategy, Nair’s appointment marks a significant milestone in Myntra’s journey towards expanding its global brand partnerships and refining its omni-channel strategy.

A Veteran’s Homecoming

Nair’s extensive experience in the retail and apparel industry spans across various geographies, including parts of South Asia and Europe, making him a valuable asset to Myntra’s senior leadership team. His role will primarily focus on enhancing Myntra’s portfolio of international brands, forging strategic partnerships with leading global names in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, and spearheading the company’s omni-channel initiatives.

Before joining Myntra, Nair held the position of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Shoppers Stop, one of India’s premier retail chains. His leadership tenure at Shoppers Stop was marked by significant achievements and contributions to the company’s growth and strategic direction. Nair’s rich leadership background also includes his role as CEO of Westside (Trent Limited), where he was instrumental in driving the brand’s expansion and operational excellence. Additionally, his experience as Managing Director of Marks & Spencer Reliance India showcased his ability to scale operations and strengthen the business footprint in the competitive Indian market.

Nair’s appointment comes at a crucial time when Myntra is looking to deepen its engagement with international brands and explore innovative retail strategies to cater to the evolving preferences of Indian consumers.
