In a significant development for international e-commerce, China’s JD.com has joined forces with the UK’s leading parcel delivery company, Evri. This partnership is poised to revolutionize the way British and European businesses engage with the lucrative Chinese market.

Facilitating Seamless Market Entry

The collaboration is designed to streamline the process for European companies looking to sell their products on JD.com’s platform. This includes enhanced services such as local pickups, warehousing, international transportation, access to Chinese bonded warehouses, customs clearance, and comprehensive delivery across China.

Leveraging Local Expertise for Global Reach

JD Logistics will tap into Evri’s extensive local distribution network and self-operated overseas warehouses. This integration promises integrated warehousing and delivery solutions, offering European clients a more efficient and seamless entry into the Chinese market.

A Synergistic Approach to E-commerce

By combining JD.com’s advanced e-commerce infrastructure with Evri’s vast delivery network, this alliance is set to provide a more streamlined and effective gateway for European businesses to reach Chinese consumers.

David Saenz, Chief Growth Officer at Evri, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting it as a testament to the growing synergy between the UK and Chinese economies. He emphasized the collaboration’s role in supporting British businesses’ growth in new markets and fostering sustainable development for both Evri and JD.com.

Enhancing Global Logistics Networks

Qun Xue, Vice President of JD.com and Head of JD Logistics International, shared that integrating Evri’s delivery network with JD.com’s e-commerce and logistics solutions enhances their service capabilities in Europe. This partnership not only offers European brands a direct route to the Chinese market but also underscores JD.com’s commitment to building a robust global logistics network and supporting international brands.
