International Celebrity Couturier Elizabeth Grace Launches First Singapore Bridal Atelier, Elizabeth Grace Couture

Elizabeth Grace Couture’s latest collection featuring made-to-measure bridal separates is for brides who want it all

International celebrity couturier Elizabeth Grace launched her first Singapore bridal atelier in Tanglin Shopping Centre, Elizabeth Grace Couture, along with a bridal separates collection, White Collection, at a launch party attended by over 50 guests, including David Foster, sixteen-time Grammy Award-winning record producer.

Pia Toscano, of American Idol fame (left) and Fernando Varela (right) also attended the launch party of Elizabeth Grace Couture on 10 April. Varela is an American operatic and classical crossover tenor who has trained with some of opera’s renowned classical icons, and toured worldwide with Grammy Award-Winning producer David Foster. In 2017, he also joined Sarah Brightman on the Royal Christmas Gala Tour.

Amidst canapés by Sage Bar & Restaurant, cocktails, and free-flow prosecco sponsored by Naked Cakes, Mixes from Mars and Panamericana respectively, David Foster presided over the ribbon-cutting ceremony and introduced the independent atelier, which aims to help brides take a different, personalised approach to picking the perfect wedding dress.

Recognising that the variety of wedding dresses a Singaporean bride has available to her is often limited by the prohibitive cost of bridal packages in Singapore, Elizabeth Grace Couture’s White Collection features versatile bridal separates that transform a stunning wedding dress into a sleek pantsuit or a whimsical evening gown.

“With these White Collection dresses, I want to give modern, free-spirited brides more control over how they want to look on their special day. Being able to mix-and-match separates and styles means that brides can change looks throughout the day to suit their needs; they can have a train for a dramatic entrance, and a shorter, simpler dress for dancing after,” said Elizabeth Grace. “Most importantly, these dresses can be worn even after the wedding, so brides can relive the magical feeling of romance in their everyday lives.”

Demonstrating once again Elizabeth Grace Couture’s commitment to customer personalisation, each gown is made-to-measure starting with a 3D scanning consultation at the atelier. Once scanned, 3D printing technology produces an accurate mannequin with which the atelier’s dressmakers can then produce a perfectly-fitted gown. Each gown takes 3-6 months to produce, and is handmade from a mixture of European fabrics, and Japanese and French laces in a classic white, ivory and cream colour palette.
