Humility does not imply that others are better than you or that you are better than them. It is the independence from harmful comparison with anyone.

Furthermore, it requires courage to accept that others can be better than you. There is always more to learn than what has been learned, therefore it is important to be open to learning from others and embracing new ideas, knowledge, and skills.

Humility is an essential component in the development of other leadership traits. The more powerful the virtue, the more the essence of humility is required to make the virtue more meaningful and sustainable.

Leaders that are humble may go further and faster with their people to serve a great cause.
