Heather Sheen: Charting a New Course at It’s Friday

Independent creative agency It’s Friday announces a significant leap forward in their strategic leadership with the appointment of Heather Sheen as their new Head of Strategy. With a storied career that includes pivotal roles at R/GA Australia and DDB Sydney, Sheen’s expertise is set to steer It’s Friday into a new era of growth and innovation.

Decades of Excellence and Achievements

Boasting over twenty years of experience in the industry, Heather Sheen is no stranger to high-stakes brand strategy. Her portfolio spans influential work with major brands such as Westpac, Transport for NSW, Amazon, Coca-Cola, and Nestlé. Sheen’s career is punctuated by numerous accolades, including honors from prestigious entities like the Effies, IPA, D&AD, Cannes, AWARD, and The One Show. Beyond her professional triumphs, Sheen is a fervent advocate for industry progression, actively contributing to diversity councils and imparting knowledge through lectures at renowned institutions like AdSchool, CopySchool, and Miami Ad School.

A Vision for Unignorable Energy

In her new role at It’s Friday, Sheen is charged with the ambitious task of driving brand growth through what the agency describes as “energy that is impossible to ignore.” This mission underscores Sheen’s ability to not only devise compelling strategies but to also ensure their effective realization, a skillset that harmonizes perfectly with It’s Friday’s ethos of impactful and innovative marketing.
