Kuala Lumpur – The Malaysian International Food and Beverage Trade Fair (MIFB) 2025, Malaysia’s premier F&B trade event, is set to return from 30 July to 1 August 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. MIFB has established itself as a key platform for SMEs, startups, and innovators to showcase new products, breakthrough inventions, and cutting-edge solutions within the ASEAN food and beverage market.

Empowering emerging brands with visibility, buyer connections, and market expansion, its continued focus on innovation drives advancements in food technology, sustainability, and future-ready solutions, setting the stage for the next wave of transformative developments in the F&B sector. This unique positioning makes MIFB a must-attend event for buyers, distributors, and investors looking beyond the mainstream seeking fresh, disruptive brands that are shaping the future of food. The event will bring together over 500 exhibitors from more than 50 countries,  expecting a footfall of over 12,000 unique visitors. 

In addition to fostering networking opportunities for local and international businesses alike,  MIFB 2025 will spotlight key innovations that shape the F&B industry, covering the entire supply chain from raw ingredient sourcing to advanced packaging and distribution solutions. A major focus will be on transformative trends, including the increasing demand for Ready-To-Eat (RTE) and Ready-To-Cook (RTC) solutions, and advancements in AI-driven processes, such as food manufacturing and smart packaging that enhance efficiency and sustainability. 

Key event highlights also include the Malaysia Café Expo (MCE), a curated platform for café industry professionals, in its inaugural collaboration with MIFB. Spotlighting the rapid rise of local café culture, including increasing consumer demands for specialty coffee, premium café experiences, and innovative café technologies, MCE serves as the go-to event for businesses looking to capitalise on the thriving café culture. As a space for café industry professionals, it offers all participants from coffee and tea suppliers to equipment manufacturers, bakery brands, and digital solution providers to connect. In line with this, MCE will host the Malaysia National Coffee Championship (MNCC), the premier national coffee competition under the Malaysia Specialty Coffee Association (MSCA). The MNCC also serves as the qualifier for participants to compete on an international level at the World Barista Championship.

Second, MyFoodTech, a platform for food tech and related industry professionals, serves as a dedicated space for industry professionals to explore cutting-edge technological advances, solutions, and services across the food value chain. Their participation further showcases the unique tri-synergy between MIFB, MCE, and MyFoodTech that offers businesses a comprehensive platform that bridges food innovation, café culture, and technology-driven solutions under one roof.

Third, the Future Chefs Table, organised in partnership with the Professional Culinaire Association, which features live cooking demonstrations with a twist — all dishes will be prepared using ingredients sourced only from exhibitors on the show floor. Additionally, emerging market trends such as the increasing interest in premium ingredients, modernised Malaysian snacks, evolving food and beverage pairings, and the current surge in functional foods and evolving culinary concepts will be topics of discussion, as experts reflect on the industry’s continued dynamic evolution.
