One of the most successful online grocery delivery services, foodpanda, has launched an unprecedented promotion in honour of the Chinese New Year. The celebrations are taking it to the next level this year with prizes including a stylish Tesla Model 3 electric vehicle and a limited edition Mahjong set.

The Limited Edition Mahjong Set, a centerpiece of the campaign, is a testament to the blend of tradition and modern design. Inspired by the foodpanda mascot, the set features unique designs like bamboo stems, bowls of munchies, and playful paw prints. This custom-designed set, complete with 156 tiles, including four animals, Fei tiles, and Joker tiles, along with 40 chips in assorted colors, is more than just a game – it’s a collector’s item, encapsulating the essence of both past and future.

The Grand Prize: A Symbol of Innovation and Eco-Friendliness

The Tesla Model 3, the campaign’s grand prize, stands as a symbol of innovation and a commitment to sustainability. This choice reflects foodpanda’s dedication to not only providing delicious meals but also to fostering a more sustainable future, aligning perfectly with their corporate mission.

The ‘Fiery Challenge’ Campaign: A Month of Festive Excitement

Running from January 24 to February 24, 2024, the ‘Fiery Challenge’ campaign is a showcase of foodpanda’s commitment to innovation and customer appreciation. With 368 lucky winners set to receive the Pau-Pau Mahjong sets and one grand prize winner of a Tesla electric car, the campaign is a celebration of diversity and gratitude.

“We are thrilled to offer our customers the chance to win the exclusive Mahjong set and a Tesla vehicle. This promotion is a celebration of the diverse choices available on foodpanda and a token of appreciation for our valued customers. We believe in constantly innovating and bringing joy to our customers, whether through culinary experiences and exciting prizes. “According to the Chinese Horoscope for 2024, the Wood Dragon Year brings promises of authority, prosperity, and good fortune. This perfectly fits with the increased excitement of our festive offerings,” expressed Pichaya Thongthua, Interim Chief Executive Officer at foodpanda.

Embracing the Wood Dragon Year with Promises of Prosperity

The Chinese Horoscope for 2024, the Wood Dragon Year, symbolizes authority, prosperity, and good fortune, resonating with the heightened excitement of foodpanda’s festive offerings. “At foodpanda, we make festivals special by offering beyond just food – foodpanda being a one-stop platform to offer a convenient solution for all your celebrations, providing everything you need, including groceries and more. It’s our way of saying thank you to our valued customers for their continued support and loyalty,” Thongthua added.

How to Participate and Announcement of Winners

Customers spending over RM88 on pre-CNY groceries can engage in weekly spins to win Pau-Pau angpows. The campaign, focusing on products from pandamart and shops at different intervals, offers discounts on pandago orders. Participants can earn contest entries by completing stamp cards with specific order values. The winners will be announced on March 4, 2024, on foodpanda’s social media platforms.
