Carsome’s taking a big step forward, aiming to secure its spot at the top of the automotive game. They’re bringing Eric Chan on board as the new Group President and COO. With a career that’s nearly three decades long in this industry, Chan is all about pushing Carsome to new heights and making sure they grow sustainably all across Southeast Asia.
Starting off selling cars right on the showroom floor, Chan worked his way up to big-time roles like managing director at Cycle & Carriage Singapore and not stopping there. He’s also been the big boss at the Cycle & Carriage Bintang board and helped steer the ship at PT Tunas Ridean TBK, also known as the Tunas Group. Right now, he’s sharing his wisdom as an independent director at AcroMeta Group, which you’ll find on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
Chan’s fired up to join forces with the team at Carsome. He’s all in on enhancing what the company’s already achieved and breaking new ground. “It’s all about being bold, working together, and really making a difference for our customers and everyone involved,” Chan shares, laying out his game plan.

With Chan stepping in, Carsome’s also mixing things up in the leadership department. Aaron Kee’s moving from COO to take on the role of Group Chief Business Officer, ready to drive business development and blend strategies throughout Carsome’s network. And Juliet Zhu? She’s transitioning from president to advisor, ready to keep offering her precious insights.
Eric Cheng, Carsome’s co-founder and CEO, can’t help but spotlight how key these leadership shifts are. “It’s a strategic move to leverage our team’s robust capabilities and meet our lofty goals.
