This National Day, McDonald’s Singapore is teaming up with local icon, Old Chang Kee to honour and celebrate Curry. Bringing two beloved brands together – McDonald’s and Old Chang Kee – this collaboration serves up their rendition on a flavour that Singaporeans love and know. Co-created with Old Chang Kee and reimagined through the modern lens of McDonald’s, presenting the Curry Potato Chicken Burger (Single/Double), Rendang Curry Beef Burger (Single/Double), Curry McShaker™ Fries. Completing the line-up are new limited-time treats, the Pineapple Coconut Pie, Sweet Potato Mochi Balls and Mango Soft Serve.

A Love Letter to Curry: McDonald’s x Old Chang Kee 

Few flavours are as deeply rooted in Singapore’s food culture as curry. Found everywhere from hawker centres to family dining tables, it is a flavour that evokes comfort, nostalgia, and connection. At the heart of this collaboration, McDonald’s Singapore and Old Chang Kee are coming together to honour that shared heritage, reimagining a local favourite through a first-of-its-kind collaboration that is both familiar and exciting.

“Curry has always held a special place for us, with our iconic Curry Sauce remaining a favourite among generations of fans. For Singapore’s 61st Birthday, we wanted to celebrate that love for curry in a way that feels uniquely Singaporean.” said Drina Chee, Senior Director, Marketing and Digital Customer Experience at McDonald’s Singapore. “Partnering with Old Chang Kee, a brand synonymous with curry puff for many Singaporeans, felt like a natural fit. Together, we’ve created two burgers that bring together the distinct curry flavours both brands are known for, resulting in a familiar yet exciting experience that we can’t wait for our customers to enjoy.”

“Our signature curry puff, Curry’O has been at the heart of the Old Chang Kee story for 70 years and is a product that generations of Singaporeans have grown up enjoying. Through it, we’ve built deep expertise in crafting many curry flavours, making our partnership with McDonald’s Singapore a natural fit. Together, we’ve brought the distinct curry expertise of both brands into a true co-creation, creating a fresh new curry flavour in a new format. We hope Singaporeans will enjoy this unique local creation, thoughtfully co-created in celebration of Singapore’s 61st birthday, as a tribute to the local flavours that bring us together and the unity that makes Singapore home.” said Ms. Chow Hui Shien, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Old Chang Kee Group.

One People, One Nation, One Love for Curry

Co-created with Old Chang Kee, the Curry Potato Chicken Burger (Single/Double) transforms the comforting flavours of a hearty curry into a delicious new form. A layer of flavour-packed curry potato filling smothered over a crispy chicken patty and fried egg, delivering a comforting bite of flavours you know by heart.

For an extra indulgent bite, choose the double patties option for extra crunch, flavour and satisfaction.

If you like your flavours big, bold, and unapologetically rich, the Rendang Curry Beef Burger (Single/Double) is your calling. Delight in juicy beef patties, dipped generously in rich, sedap Rendang sauce layered over a fried egg and topped with fragrant onions.


Curry McShaker™ Fries

If you’re going curry, go all in! Complete your feast with the Curry McShaker™ Fries. McDonald’s golden fries are tossed in a fragrant curry seasoning co-created with Old Chang Kee. Shiok from the first shake! 

Reach out for Desserts

To wrap things up on a sweet note, the Pineapple Coconut Pie brings golden, crispy pastry filled with bright pineapple and creamy coconut – two tropical flavours together in every comforting bite. 

Alongside it, the Sweet Potato Mochi Balls offer a soft, chewy centre wrapped in a light golden crust. Two playful desserts, each bringing their own texture and flavour, made for snackable, feel-good indulgence.

When the weather calls for something refreshing, the Mango Soft Serve delivers! Sweet, tropical mango meets creamy soft-serve, available as a Cone, Twist and ChocoCone®. If you’re feeling extra indulgent, enjoy it topped with hot fudge sauce, strawberry sauce or OREO® in a Sundae or McFlurry®.
