Earth Day is an initiative celebrated worldwide annually on the 22nd of April. It celebrates the earth’s diversity & highlights ways of living sustainably.

Earth Day is an annual event that started in 1970 when 20 million Americans — 10% of the population of the U.S. at the time — came together to demonstrate the importance of increasing protection for our planet, according to the official Earth Day website EARTHDAY.ORG. 

According to the official Earth Day website, it works with more than 150,000 partners in over 192 countries with 1 billion individuals involved. Earth Day celebrates our planet and highlights the need to hold sectors accountable for their role in the environmental crisis.

Most people are looking forward to celebrating Earth Day by taking part in any number of various events. Brands in the past have come up with creative and interactive ways to keep the movement alive.
