Singapore, 14 June 2024: Socially-led creative powerhouse, We Are Social Singapore, has reinforced its creative and strategy divisions with the addition of two seasoned professionals, Daniel Foo and Darcy Mitchell.

Daniel Foo steps in as the new Creative Director, bringing with him nearly three years of invaluable experience from e-commerce giant Lazada. Reporting to Regional Executive Creative Director Omar Sotomayor, Foo will spearhead the creative team, aiming to deliver social-first, innovative, and impactful campaigns for the agency’s clients.

Foo’s impressive career spans over 15 years, with stints at renowned agencies such as BBH, Grey Group, JWT, and McCann. His portfolio boasts work across various sectors including tech, banking, tourism, and retail, with accolades from prestigious award shows like D&AD and the Creative Circle Awards.

Darcy Mitchell joins as Strategy Director, tasked with leading social strategy and planning for key client accounts and spearheading innovation projects. He will report to James Honda-Pinder, Head of Strategy at We Are Social Singapore.

Mitchell’s background includes several years of consulting for adtech and SaaS companies on brand positioning and content strategy. A British native, he brings a wealth of experience in strategy, social, content, and business development from his time at agencies like Iris and Dentsu in both London and Singapore.

We Are Social Singapore, recently crowned Campaign’s Southeast Asia Social Media Agency of the Year, comprises a robust team of 80 professionals. The agency collaborates with high-profile brands such as Samsung Mobile, Bandai Namco Entertainment, UOB, and TikTok. Known for its innovation expertise, the agency excels in areas like virtual influencer creation, social-first production capabilities, and developing AI and XR products for its global future strategy and innovation arm, .XYZ.
