The Gaming Company (TGC) has partnered with Hooga Hooga Gaming, Lorcan Gaming, Putra Gaming and FTX, a cryptocurrency exchange platform, to introduce the first-ever Axie Infinity Tournament, the FTX GalAxie Cup.

Axie Infinity is a play-to-earn, turn-based strategy game where players collect creatures known as Axies to battle one another in the arena. The game uses an Ethereum-based cryptocurrency, AXS (Axie Infinity Shards) and Smooth Love Potion (SLP) as in-game currency which can be converted into real money.
Verasity, an esports-focused video blockchain protocol, has partnered with Axie Infinity for the FTX GalAxie Cup 2021. Its video sharing platform uses a “proof of view” blockchain technology to deliver accurate audience metrics.
It also offers incentives to viewers to drive engagement and monetisation of video content via its “watch and earn” business model.
Axie Infinity will utilise Verasity’s video streaming and patented blockchain technology. The blockchain game’s first esports tournament will see a 5000 AXS (about RM 2,643,450) prize pool up for grabs.
