Dalam era yang serba moden ini, media sosial telah menjadi salah satu platform yang wajib dimuat turun bagi kebanyakan orang, tidak kira tua atau muda,miskin ataupun kaya.

Media sosial banyak memberi impak kepada kehidupan manusia, mereka sama ada menggunakan platform tertentu untuk berkongsi gambar, berbisnes, atau bagi tujuan hiburan sahaja.

Tetapi perlulah diingatkan bahawa ianya penting untuk kita “behave” di media sosial.
Bukannya perlu untuk berlaku “fake”,tetapi tidak semua harus kita post dan share. 

Bagi saya memang benar kita boleh melihat personaliti seseorang itu daripada cara penulisannya di media sosial. 

Pengikut kita di media sosial terbagi kepada banyak kategori. Kanak-kanak, remaja dan dewasa.Oleh itulah kita haruslah menjaga tata-tertib sebelum membuat sesuatu posting.
Jadilah seseorang yang professional di media sosial dan juga diluar. Elakkan menulis perkataan-perkataan kasar dan lucah kerana ianya akan membuatkan diri kita ternampak “teruk” dimata orang. 

Saya mempunyai seorang kenalan yang sentiasa membuat story di instagram dengan memaki dan bercerita tentang keburukan orang yang dikenalinya. Bukan sekali tetapi sangat kerap sehingga rakan-rakan yang lain juga perasan tentang hal itu.

Apakah yang akan anda fikir bila berjumpa dengan orang sebegini?
Perkara pertama yang akan muncul difikiran anda adalah;

“mengapa dia selalu ada masalah dengan orang?

“adakah dia seorang yang bermasalah?”

“adakah dia akan bertindak seperti ini kepada saya jika saya ada sedikit masalah dengannya?”

“ah, lebih baik tidak perlu berkawan dengan orang macam ni, toksik.”

Itu yang akan berada difikiran seorang rakan.
Tetapi perlu diingatkan bukan hanya rakan-rakan yang mengikuti (follow) anda di media sosial ya!

Tahukah anda sesetengah majikan sering memerhati pekerjanya di media sosial?
Bukan kerana mereka “busybody”, cuma mereka ingin mengetahui personaliti pekerja mereka dengan lebih dalam.

Oleh itu, kita haruslah berfikir panjang sebelum bertindak di media sosial dan haruslah sentiasa berfikir,adakah posting ini sensitif buat audience saya?  

Tanya pada diri sendiri, siapakah audience dan pengikut anda?

Pengikut saya adalah rakan, guru sekolah, keluarga, keluarga pasangan, bos, bekas bos, rakan sekerja dan ramai lagi.

Setiap kali saya ingin membuat sesuatu posting pasti saya akan berfikir panjang, jadi dengan tidak langsung ianya amat membantu saya untuk terus menjadi rasional dan lebih professional sebelum bertindak di media sosial. 

Bak kata pepatah,
“Semua orang mungkin akan suka padamu, namun hanya keperibadian dan sikapmu yang membuat mereka akan tetap bersamamu.”
