Afiliasi pemasaran mungkin tidak terlalu terkait dengan media sosial seperti pemasaran influencer, tetapi ini adalah peluang komersial yang menarik yang harus dimanfaatkan. Sama seperti blog atau situs web mana pun, media sosial adalah platform yang bagus untuk mendorong konten ke audiens yang ditargetkan melalui jangkauan organik, yang ketika diubah menjadi komunitas dengan pengikut setia, dapat dimonetisasi dengan pemasaran afiliasi produk dan layanan yang disesuaikan dengan baik. Berikut beberapa alasan mengapa Anda harus fokus pada media sosial untuk pemasaran afiliasi:

1. Instagram dan TikTok Dapat Memberi Anda Audiens yang Banyak

Salah satu alasan pemasaran afiliasi bekerja dengan baik dengan media sosial karena dibuat untuk semua orang. Saat ini, ada 1 miliar pengguna aktif bulanan di Instagram dan 800 juta di TikTok. Karenanya, konten yang bagus di Instagram atau TikTok dapat menampilkan banyak orang kepada Anda. Manfaatnya tidak hanya sampai di situ. Instagram dan TikTok juga menjadi tempat yang tepat untuk meyakinkan orang untuk membeli produk karena pengguna dan pembuatnya telah menjadi sumber informasi dan rekomendasi tepercaya di media sosial. Penelitian oleh Market Force telah menunjukkan bahwa 81% keputusan pembelian konsumen daring AS dipengaruhi oleh kiriman media sosial teman mereka, sementara pengguna yang dipengaruhi oleh kiriman merek yang mereka ikuti di media sosial kurang dari 3%.

 2. Pengguna Instagram dan TikTok Menyukai Konten Buatan User yang Original. 

Pengguna media sosial telah melihat banyak konten bermerek sepanjang hidup mereka sehingga melihat produk yang disajikan oleh pengguna lain, termasuk influencer, menjadi praktik yang lebih dihargai. Selain mempercayai pengguna untuk merekomendasikan suatu produk, terlihat bahwa konten yang dibuat oleh pengguna menghasilkan lebih banyak keterlibatan secara keseluruhan. Contoh bagusnya adalah TikTok, platform media sosial yang paling dikenal dengan audiens yang lebih muda, di mana pengguna dan postingan teratasnya secara konsisten berasal dari influencer dan bahkan pengguna biasa.

3. Penempatan Tautan yang Strategis

Sementara tautan afiliasi tradisional ditempatkan di tengah atau akhir posting blog, Instagram dan TikTok memungkinkan untuk menautkan dan menambahkan kode rujukan di tempat-tempat yang lebih mudah ditemukan, biasanya di gambar atau video itu sendiri, melalui swipe-up Instagram story, atau hashtag di TikTok yang secara langsung mengarahkan pengunjung ke halaman merek yang ditunjuk. Apalagi sekarang saat social commerce berkembang di TikTok dan Instagram, perjalanan dari sebuah postingan ke check out jauh lebih singkat, sehingga lebih mudah untuk dikonversi sebagai afiliasi.

4. Bantuan Algoritma untuk Mempromosikan Konten Anda

TikTok dan Instagram memiliki algoritma bawaan yang memungkinkan konten bagus dapat ditemukan oleh pengguna, bahkan mereka yang tidak mengikuti Anda. Misalnya, konten dari Feed, Stories, Reel, dan toko Instagram dengan banyak interaksi seperti suka dan komentar dapat ditemukan di halaman Jelajahi Instagram oleh penonton yang tertarik. Halaman Untuk Anda TikTok juga dikenal dapat secara akurat menampilkan konten yang disukai yang cocok dengan pos yang Anda sukai sebelumnya.
