Maybelline New York India has selected new brand ambassadors in an attempt to reach out to the Gen Z demographic of consumers in India. These ambassadors will help promote the company’s mission and values to their target market. The brand has recently announced its collaboration with renowned athlete PV Sindhu, alongside actors Suhana Khan and Ananya Birla, and influencer Eksha Subba as the official ambassadors. This is sure to increase the popularity of the brand across different segments. We are excited to announce the newest representatives of our brand. They will be featured in campaigns, take part in special activities and join us for some of our upcoming initiatives.

Appealing to Gen Z Consumers

Maybelline New York India’s decision to appoint these new brand ambassadors highlights their aim to appeal to the Gen Z consumers in India. With the world becoming more diverse and the younger generations becoming more vocal and expressive, Maybelline New York India believes that these brand ambassadors perfectly represent their brand and mission.

The New Brand Ambassadors

Maybelline New York India has appointed actor Suhana Khan, daughter of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. She is a rising star and has already garnered a considerable following on social media. Singer and entrepreneur Ananya Birla is also a new addition to the brand ambassador lineup. She is the founder of Svatantra Microfinance, India’s first microfinance company that promotes the growth of female entrepreneurship. Lastly, internet personality Eksha Subba has also been appointed as a new brand ambassador. She is known for her fashion and lifestyle content on social media.

Extended Association with PV Sindhu

In addition to the newly appointed brand ambassadors, Maybelline New York India has also extended its association with sportsperson PV Sindhu. The brand ambassadorship is part of the company’s plan to expand its footprint in the sports category. PV Sindhu, a renowned badminton player, has already been representing the brand in India for a few years now.

The First Campaign

Roll-out of the initial campaign starring Maybelline New York India’s fresh brand ambassadors is scheduled for April 2023. Our brand ambassadors will be the face of our campaigns, events, and initiatives; all with the aim of providing individuals with self-confidence to express themselves through their individual style and beauty.

Zeenia Bastani, brand general manager of Maybelline New York and L’Oréal India, voiced her enthusiasm for the new appointments. We are absolutely delighted to have Suhana Khan, Ananya Birla, Eksha Subba and PV Sindhu joining Maybelline New York! Our mission is to empower people with the self-confidence to express themselves and their own unique beauty, no matter what. These four amazing young women perfectly represent the spirit of our brand and what we strive for.

Maybelline New York women are brave, expressive, and strong; always expressing their confidence and making an impact on the world. These qualities are perfectly exhibited in the brand’s image.
