Local Tech Firm RADX Creates Singapore’s First Licensed 3D Virtual Reality Expo Platform

Licensed software as a service platform reduces built time and cost for event organisers, allowing VR conferences and exhibitions to be up and running in weeks

RADX, a leading software development and technology services firm, concluded the successful run of its first licensed 3D virtual reality (VR) conference using its RADX VRTM platform. The event, Smart ConnecTech Asia 2020, which was held on 9th and 10th September 2020, drew close to 150 attendees from Asia Pacific to network with each other, while witnessing new product launches through a VR environment.

Through the dynamic use of 3D technology, gamification and VR, RADX VRTM platform address the needs of event organisers by offering flexibility and scalability to launch virtual trade shows and conferences for exhibitors and visitors, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic for which the world was unprepared with a sudden need to impose safe distancing and isolation which impedes the running of such events.

All-in-one 3D VR Conference Capabilities with Competitive Advantages

At the heart of the RADX VRTM platform is the non-immersive 3D technology that allows visitors to set their own avatar, based on role playing game (RPG) models. This makes the user experience as interactive as it can be, allowing visitors to enjoy a seamless experience similar to that of visiting a physical trade show. The virtual environment allows visitors to exchange name cards and chat with each other via chat and video call, as well as watch live streaming of webinars with live question and answer (Q&A) sessions that can be held after the respective sessions. 

Exhibitors can benefit from an interactive experience with their visitors by engaging them in one-on-one or group chats, or utilising video call for a more personalised experience. Visitors can also view and download product information such as brochures, images or videos for their viewing after visiting the booths. Keynote and plenary sessions are held in a virtual auditorium, where presenters can live-stream lectures or play a pre-recorded presentation, followed by Q&A sessions. Visitors who missed an important session can access recordings of the session, available on-demand after the event.

For event organisers, RADX 3D VR conference offers the flexibility and scalability to launch virtual trade shows with tailored company branding, fully integrated in the visual and virtual environment. Organisers can also fully integrate their own email marketing campaign software and key social media network plugins such as LinkedIn and Facebook, enabling both the organiser and exhibitors to capture every qualified lead before, during and after each virtual trade show. This provide not only constant lead generation opportunities for each virtual expo marketplace, generate virtual business network effect with qualified traffic and leads, but also increase audience reach globally. Finally, RADX licenses the VR solutions as software as a service type platform (SaaS), which help reduces built time and cost, allowing conferences and exhibitions to be up and running in weeks. This can help event organisers to quickly scale up their event to speed, while saving costs on logistics, manpower and travelling required as compared to organising a physical event.
