A new LEGO Ideas set, number 47, has been unveiled: With its most recent set, the LEGO Group is illuminating it with a tribute to the international pop icons BTS. The seven-piece band is depicted in the LEGO Ideas BTS Dynamite set, which was created by a LEGO fan. The set shows the band on the set of their global smash-hit single “Dynamite,” which was released in August 2020 and went on to receive over one billion views in just eight months while also becoming the band’s first number-one single in the United States. Josh, 20, from Indiana, and Jacob, 21, from New York are LEGO enthusiasts and friends who came up with this LEGO Ideas set. They collaborated to make the set come to life by fusing their enthusiasm for LEGO construction with their love of BTS.
Jacob explained their method as follows: “Josh did the building and design work, and as a huge fan of BTS, I told him what needed to be in it and what details were most important. The procedure was really enjoyable. “Jacob had the BTS knowledge, and he was able to direct my build in the right way,” Josh continued. I kept replaying the music video in my head while attempting to recreate it with LEGOs. When the project suddenly became extremely popular online, it was insane. In order to promote its newest set, the LEGO Group is counting on the buzz surrounding BTS.
