Hepmil Philippines Launches Incubation Program to Boost Social Commerce Skills Among Creators

20 December 2023, Manila, Philippines — In an innovative move that marks a significant shift in the digital content creation landscape, Hepmil Philippines, a leading technology-driven media company, has announced the launch of a groundbreaking incubation program. This initiative is designed to arm its talented creators and expansive network with advanced social commerce skills, tapping into the burgeoning market of online monetization and consumer engagement.

Jel Directo, the Country Manager of Hepmil Creators’ Network, outlined the program’s ambitious objectives. “As the local market rapidly embraces social commerce, we are equipping our creators with the necessary tools and skills. This includes mastering effective live selling, live streaming, and affiliate content building. Our goal is to continue partnering with pioneering brands in creator marketing, supporting them as they accelerate their test-and-learn efforts,” Directo explained.

The rise of social commerce represents a lucrative frontier for content creators. By fostering collaborations with regional e-commerce brands, Hepmil Philippines aims to strengthen direct-to-consumer initiatives, thereby enhancing the creators’ ability to engage and sell to their audiences effectively.

In a strategic move to bolster its Creators’ Network, Hepmil Philippines has welcomed new talents, including Jico Umali (Jiconyo), Pipay Kipay, and Adam Alejo. These additions are part of a broader strategy to introduce communication strategies tailored for the new generation of mobile-first consumers. “Through organic integration into engaging content, brands can make authentic connections with audiences who seek entertainment value,” added Directo.

Beyond individual creator support, Hepmil is known for its popular digital content platform, PGAG. The company has invested in producing shows like “Oner Gang,” which focuses on local travel, and “Sa Office,” offering a satirical take on workplace culture. These initiatives provide brands with a strategic entry point into the evolving realm of digital marketing, where the balance between advertising and entertainment is crucial.

Erwin Razon, PGAG General Manager, emphasized the vision behind these efforts. “We strongly believe in the balance of advertising and entertainment in content. This mindset allows us to thrive by integrating brand messages seamlessly within our content while maintaining the authenticity and entertainment that our fans love,” Razon stated.
