The second day of Goafest 2023, a celebration of creativity in the industry, unfolded with Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) being crowned the Broadcaster of the Year. Notably, Leo Burnett India received recognition as the Digital Specialist Agency of the Year, and Mindshare stood out as both the Mobile Specialist Agency and Technology Specialist Agency of the Year.
The honours were not limited to these giants, as FCB Group India bagged two significant titles, becoming the Direct Specialist Agency and Public Relations Specialist Agency of the Year. COG Culture, on the other hand, earned the Design Specialist Agency of the Year award.
One of the highlights of the day was Leo Burnett India scooping up the only Grand Prix of the day for its compelling ‘Airtel 175 Replayed’ campaign under the Digital Craft – Creative Use of Video category. Both Leo Burnett India and FCB Group India turned heads as they led the gold winners list with seven wins each.
Delving into the wins, Leo Burnett India’s ‘Missing Chapter’ campaign for P&G Whisper, ‘Airtel 175 Replayed’ campaign, ‘Oreo #BringBack2011’ campaign, and Josh’s ‘Safe Swipe’ campaign were recognized with gold awards. Meanwhile, FCB Group India’s work on campaigns like ‘Chatpat’ for SOS Children’s Villages India, Gomantak Private Limited, Mudra Pratishthan’s ‘SHUBH DAHAN’, Unaids’ ‘Unbox me’, and Navneet Education Limited’s ‘Tr. for Teacher’ equally impressed the jury, earning them gold.
The awards list went on with Culver Max Entertainment Private Limited taking home four golds in the Broadcaster Abbys category, including recognition for ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 14 (Launch-Sanju)’, ‘India’s Laughter Champion’ and ‘Dil Diya Galla’. Mindshare, too, had a splendid run, earning three golds for its unique campaign, ‘Thumbstopping Beauty Biases’ for Dove.
Also making a mark on the gold winners’ list were Enormous, White Rivers Media, Wunderman Thompson, IBS Fulcro, Madison World, VMLY&R, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, and Viacom 18 Media Private Limited, for their respective standout campaigns.
