Diolko Announces Partnerships with CEVA Logistics, L’Oréal and DKSH to Revolutionise Sustainable Last-Mile Delivery

Diolko, a leading provider of sustainable last-mile delivery solutions, today announced strategic partnerships with CEVA Logistics (previously Bolloré Logistics), L’Oréal and DKSH. These collaborations mark a significant step forward in promoting sustainable logistics and demonstrate Diolko’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions in the supply chain.

The partnerships highlight the company’s versatility and adaptability in catering to diverse industries and logistical needs. By offering tailored solutions for beauty products, pharmaceuticals and other consumer goods, Diolko showcases its capability to provide sustainable and efficient last-mile delivery across a wide range of sectors.

CEVA Logistics and L’Oréal: Spearheading Sustainable Beauty Delivery

CEVA is a leading logistics service provider that manages international freight, warehousing and distribution for companies like L’Oréal. Its partnership with Diolko for L’Oréal’s Kiehl’s brand in Malaysia introduces a groundbreaking approach to last-mile delivery.

Kiehl’s long-standing commitment to sustainability, particularly its mission in reducing environmental impacts, made it the ideal brand for this pilot project on sustainable delivery initiative. By leveraging Diolko’s innovative use of electric vehicles and public transportation networks, this collaboration aims to significantly reduce carbon emissions while enhancing and ensuring a seamless experience for L’Oréal customers.

Aligned with L’Oréal’s sustainability goals, the initiative sets a new benchmark for eco-friendly beauty product delivery. Its key objectives include lowering carbon emissions in urban deliveries, pioneering sustainable logistics practices and improving customer satisfaction, supporting L’Oréal’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2030 and Diolko’s mission to cut last-mile carbon emissions by up to 80%.

“L’Oréal is committed to reducing its environmental impact throughout the value chain and last-mile delivery is a key area of focus. This partnership with Diolko for sustainable last-mile delivery is a crucial step in that journey, highlighting our proactive approach in reducing carbon footprint while elevating customer experience. This is just the beginning as we look forward to expanding this innovative initiative with Diolko,” said Tomas Hruska, Managing Director of L’Oréal Malaysia. 

DKSH: Transforming Logistics with Focus on Reverse Logistics

Diolko’s collaboration with DKSH is centered on providing comprehensive end-to-end logistics solutions for the diverse range of products that DKSH distributes within its Business Unit Healthcare. This partnership places a strong emphasis on last-mile delivery and reverse logistics, ensuring efficient, reliable, and seamless supply chain management tailored to the unique needs of its Healthcare line. By integrating Diolko’s expertise, DKSH aims to optimise its supply chain, reduce environmental impact, ensure the safe and timely delivery as well as return of products. This partnership underscores both companies’ commitment to responsible and efficient logistics, minimising delivery delays, ensuring regulatory compliance and highlighting DKSH’s commitment to sustainability.

Reverse logistics plays an important role in the healthcare supply chain by ensuring that unused or expired healthcare products are safely returned and efficiently disposed of or redistributed. Diolko’s seamless reverse logistics solution incorporates route optimisation, tracking system and secure handling standards, ensuring efficiency, safety and traceability throughout the process of returning items back to DKSH’s warehouse.
