A Milestone in Brewing Innovation
The transformation involves significant upgrades, including RM200 million allocated to cutting-edge bottling and canning lines and RM140 million dedicated to energy-efficient production technologies. These upgrades are not just about enhancing capacity and reducing utility consumption—they’re about transforming how beer is brewed responsibly.
According to Clini, “As we celebrate 55 years of operations in Malaysia, we look forward to accelerating progress towards zero carbon emissions in a way that is both commercially and socially sustainable.”
The advancements also align with Carlsberg Group’s global sustainability initiative, Together Towards ZERO and Beyond, aiming for net-zero emissions across its value chain by 2040.
