Acer Gaming and Komodo have announced their partnership to bring the Steam Deck Docking Station and Steam Deck to Acer retail stores in Hong Kong and Taiwan from March 17th. Steam Deck is a handheld gaming PC that can run thousands of games, including many AAA franchises popular around the world. The device is designed for ease of use, comfort and ergonomics, and is customisable to fit each gamer’s play style.
Steam Deck Now Available for Demo at Physical Retail Stores
According to the release, this is the first time the portable gaming PC may be tested out in shops in these regions. Both the Steam Deck and the Steam Deck Docking Station are available for purchase at the PREDATOR store at K11 MUSEA, the Golden Computer Center store, as well as six Acer stores in Taiwan.
List of Games Available for Hands-On Demo
The list of games that are available for hands-on demo includes “Aperture Desk Job,” “Devil May Cry 5,” “Melty Blood,” “Octopath Traveler 2,” “Hades,” “Scarlet Nexus,” and “Portal 2,” according to the official Steam Deck account for Taiwan on Twitter.
Plans for launching Steam Deck in Japan and South Korea
Komodo intends to introduce Steam Deck in the future at retail locations in South Korea and Japan.
