Community builder, Tropicana Corporation Berhad (“Tropicana” or “Group”) continued to reinforce its commitment to building vibrant, connected communities by hosting two large-scale community engagement events across its signature townships over the weekend. Drawing a collective crowd of 1,120 visitors, the Group transformed Tropicana Aman and Tropicana Alam into lively destinations that celebrate creativity, nature, local heritage, and family togetherness, underscoring its vision of creating thriving townships beyond bricks and mortar.
Held on 25 and 26 July 2026 respectively, the two events reflected Tropicana’s continued efforts to activate its thoughtfully planned public spaces while fostering meaningful engagement among residents, homebuyers and the wider community. The weekend’s festivities also highlighted the Group’s commitment to placemaking through its 8 unique Development DNAs and 3 ESG pillars, with holistic living, sustainability, connectivity, and community well-being at the heart of every township.
The weekend commenced at the award-winning 863-acre Tropicana Aman township in Kota Kemuning, where Eastlake Park played host to the Inter-School Outdoor Sketching Competition organised by the Selangor Chinese School Teachers Association in collaboration with Sin Chew Daily. Set against the township’s picturesque lakeside landscape, the event welcomed 520 participants from 44 Selangor-based schools, providing young minds with an inspiring outdoor canvas to express their creativity while fostering artistic expression, nature appreciation and environmental awareness. 2 | P a g e
Surrounded by lush greenery and scenic waterfront views, Eastlake Park offered the ideal setting for students to immerse themselves in nature as they translated the township’s beauty onto paper. Gathering along the picturesque lakeside, where charming gazebos and beautifully landscaped greenery provided inspiration for their artwork, participants were encouraged to observe and appreciate the natural surroundings through artistic expression. The event further reinforced Tropicana Aman’s reputation as a township where thoughtfully curated green spaces serve not only as recreational amenities but also as vibrant community spaces that inspire learning, creativity and meaningful connections.
Schools from various districts — including Klang, Kuala Langat, Petaling Jaya, and other Selangor regions — will be represented. The competition highlights the strong support for Chinese-language education and the promotion of art within the community.
Continuing the momentum, Tropicana Alam welcomed 600 visitors on 26 July 2026 for its inaugural Durian Carnival 2026, organised in partnership with the Durian Manufacturer Association Malaysia (“DMA”). Held within the thriving 362-acre township in Puncak Alam, the carnival celebrated Malaysia’s beloved king of fruits through an exciting line-up of durian tastings, family-friendly activities, interactive experiences and strategic partner showcases, creating a festive atmosphere for visitors of all ages. Adding to the excitement, the DMA conducted a public voting initiative during the carnival to champion the recognition of durian as Malaysia’s national fruit, receiving strong support from visitors throughout the event.
Beyond the vibrant carnival experience, visitors also had the opportunity to discover Tropicana Alam’s latest offerings, including Avisa Residences—the township’s first GreenRE-certified two-storey Premium Green Terraces—as well as an introduction to its first commercial phase, lakeside and park front 2-storey Shop Offices – Hillside, now open for registration with early bird privileges. The event demonstrated how lifestyle activations create meaningful opportunities for prospective purchasers to experience the township firsthand while showcasing Tropicana’s integrated approach to sustainable township development.
Commenting on the successful weekend, Ixora Ang, Managing Director, Marketing & Sales and Business Development of Tropicana, shared, “For more than 47 years, Tropicana has crafted 20 3 | P a g e
