Vistar Media Expands APAC Footprint with New Programmatic DOOH Partnerships in Taiwan

Vistar Media, a global leader in technology solutions for out-of-home (OOH) media, continues its remarkable expansion across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region by forging key partnerships with KanBan Culture and PilotTV Holdings in Taiwan. These strategic alliances mark a significant milestone for Vistar Media, unlocking new inventory in Taiwan and enhancing its global marketplace offerings.

Expanding Opportunities in Taiwan’s Dynamic Market

Taiwan, with its vibrant urban environments and high foot traffic locations, presents a compelling opportunity for digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising. Recognizing this, Vistar Media has strategically partnered with two of Taiwan’s prominent media owners, KanBan Culture and PilotTV Holdings, to bring their inventory into Vistar’s expansive global marketplace. This move aligns with Vistar’s ongoing commitment to strengthen its footprint across the APAC region and offer innovative programmatic DOOH solutions to advertisers.

“Taiwan represents a significant growth opportunity for Vistar Media, and we are thrilled to officially enter this vibrant market thanks to partnerships with media owners in the region,” said Ben Baker, Managing Director of APAC at Vistar Media. “Our presence in Taiwan will allow us to provide advertisers with the tools they need to create impactful, data-driven digital out-of-home advertising campaigns.”

A New Era of Programmatic DOOH in Taiwan

The partnerships with KanBan Culture and PilotTV Holdings are poised to revolutionize Taiwan’s DOOH landscape. By integrating with Vistar Media’s global demand-side platform (DSP), advertisers across APAC can now access a broader range of premium inventory, which was previously challenging to reach.

David Mou, Chief Visionary Officer, and Chief Business Development Officer at KanBan Culture, shared, “KanBan seeks to onboard the most iconic, impactful, and contextually significant DOOH inventories in Taiwan onto the global pDOOH ecosystem. Vistar Media’s technical prowess, brand stature, and well-rounded support enable KanBan to credibly and confidently deliver pDOOH executions to brand clients’ and media owners’ simultaneous satisfaction.”

YF Juan, International Operations at PilotTV Holdings, added, “As Taiwan’s programmatic DOOH leader for retail, transportation, and healthcare channels, PTV-i welcomes programmatic buyers through our collaboration with Vistar Media. This partnership is set to enhance the reach and effectiveness of DOOH campaigns across our extensive network, and we look forward to opening up our premium inventory to buyers both local to Taiwan and around the world.”

Strengthening Vistar’s APAC Presence

This expansion into Taiwan is a continuation of Vistar Media’s successful strategy in the APAC region. The company has recently celebrated milestones, such as introducing programmatic capabilities in mainland China, launching a new office in Melbourne, and achieving a 182% year-over-year marketplace growth in Southeast Asia. These achievements underscore Vistar’s dedication to advancing the OOH marketplace across the region.

In addition to its newly available inventory in Taiwan, Vistar Media maintains a strong presence across multiple APAC markets, including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, mainland China, and Hong Kong.
