Embracing Joyful Connections In an enchanting fusion of culinary craft and storytelling magic, Starbucks and Disney have teamed up once again, this time launching the “Sip of Joy” collection—a vibrant series of drinkware and lifestyle accessories inspired by the cherished friendships among Disney’s most beloved characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Donald Duck. The collection is slated for release across 12 Asia-Pacific markets on April 16, promising to bring waves of nostalgia and happiness.

A Colorful Celebration

True to its name, the “Sip of Joy” collection is designed to sprinkle Mickey and Friends’ everlasting optimism across all ages. Each item in the collection—whether it’s a mug, a diary, or a keychain—features colorful illustrations of the iconic characters, complemented by inspirational quotes that promote unity and togetherness. This line of collectibles boasts not just vibrant colors but also unique designs that include overlapping cut-outs symbolizing layers of joy and friendship.

A Vision of Unity Starbucks’ vision of nurturing profound human connections melds beautifully with Disney’s narratives of enduring friendships. Samuel Fung, Vice President of Product and Marketing at Starbucks Asia-Pacific, expressed excitement about the partnership: “Building on the success of our previous collaborations, we are delighted to bring this new experience to our fans. The ‘Sip of Joy’ collection is rooted in our core values of fostering joyful connections and celebrating the magical bonds of friendship that uplift our daily lives.”

From April 16, enthusiasts from Australia to Vietnam will be able to purchase these limited-edition treasures. Starbucks hopes that this collection will not only delight fans but also encourage them to cherish and celebrate their relationships. “Like the perfect blend of coffee and conversation, our aim is for this collection to add joy to every sip and inspire more heartwarming moments among friends and families,” Fung added.

Collectibles with a Heart Each piece in the “Sip of Joy” collection is a testament to the power of connections and the shared joy that favorite stories can evoke. With its timely release, Starbucks and Disney invite everyone in the Asia-Pacific region to make their social gatherings a bit more magical, one sip at a time.
