As Malaysia gears up to celebrate its National Day, Munchy’s, the nation’s No. 1 biscuit brand, is adding a delightful touch to the festivities by sharing RM100,000 worth of its finest biscuits with participants at the National Day parade in Putrajaya. This gesture aligns perfectly with Munchy’s mission to spread happiness through every bite.

For over three decades, Munchy’s has been a household name in Malaysia, renowned for its commitment to delivering high-quality biscuits that cater to diverse tastes and preferences. The brand’s longevity and success are not only a testament to its world-class standards but also to its dedication to making every moment a joyous occasion for Malaysians.

A Heartfelt Tribute to Malaysia

Rodney Wong, CEO of Universal Robina Munchy’s Malaysia, expressed the brand’s excitement about being part of the National Day celebrations, saying, “We are thrilled to share happiness with our fellow Malaysians on this significant day. Our belief is in providing tasty yet finest quality biscuits that are good for families to consume. Every bite is full of fun and happiness. The sign of ‘M’ is more than just a letter — M is for Malaysia, M is for Munchy’s, and M is in the hearts of all Malaysians. We want Malaysians to ‘Taste Munchy’s, Taste Happiness’.”

At the same event, Minister YB Fahmi Fadzil, who also serves as the 2024 HKHM Main Committee Chairman, highlighted the tremendous support received for the National Day celebrations. He stated, “This year, we have received RM4.09 million in contributions from 29 strategic partners for the HKHM celebration. These funds, comprising both cash and in-kind sponsorships, will be channeled to the National Day Trust Account to support the preparations for HKHM and will be distributed to the public attending the National Day celebration at Putrajaya Square on 31st August.”
