In a powerful testament to the convergence of advanced logistics and mission-driven entrepreneurship, LogiNext, a global leader in AI-powered last-mile delivery automation, has announced a strategic deepening of its partnership with Hungry Harvest, the Maryland-based social enterprise revolutionizing how food waste and hunger are tackled through technology.

The two companies, aligned by a shared commitment to purpose, innovation, and sustainability, have worked together for over eight years—pioneering a tech-enabled model of ethical delivery that is scaling across both consumer and institutional channels.

A Partnership Rooted in Purpose, Powered by AI

Hungry Harvest, founded by Evan Lutz in 2014 while still a student at the University of Maryland, began with a bold vision: eliminate food waste and hunger by repurposing surplus and cosmetically “imperfect” produce. The company gained national recognition after securing a deal with Robert Herjavec on ABC’s Shark Tank in 2016, and has since evolved into one of the leading voices in the food-as-medicine movement—partnering with hospitals, government agencies, and insurers to deliver fresh produce to patients and communities in need.

“From the very beginning, we were clear that Hungry Harvest wouldn’t just be a business—it would be a force for social change,” said Evan Lutz, Founder & CEO. “But scaling impact at the pace we wanted required serious logistics infrastructure. That’s where LogiNext came in—and over the years, their technology has become an irreplaceable part of our operations.”

LogiNext’s Founder and CEO Dhruvil Sanghvi echoed this alignment. “We’ve always believed that great technology should empower great missions. Scaling Complexity with Simplicity

Hungry Harvest’s operations today are multifaceted: from customizable produce boxes for individual consumers, to standardized health-focused deliveries for institutions. All are routed through a unified logistics backbone—LogiNext’s intelligent delivery orchestration engine.

“We handle thousands of deliveries every week—some are highly personalized, others are institutional—but they all go out using the same drivers, the same warehouses, and the same trucks,” explained Lutz. “LogiNext makes this level of integration seamless. Their platform doesn’t just handle complexity—it thrives on it.”

Challenges such as overlapping B2B and D2C delivery schedules, dynamic delivery windows, and the need for high-density routing are addressed using LogiNext’s AI-powered models. The platform continuously optimizes vehicle selection, load sequencing, and real-time route adjustments—all while minimizing carbon footprint and maximizing customer satisfaction.

“Hungry Harvest forced us to think differently,” said Sanghvi. “We had to design for evolving delivery patterns, hybrid models, and near-instant responsiveness. Today, our platform’s capabilities—from predictive routing to hands-free dispatching—are in part thanks to what we learned building for them.”

The partnership’s impact extends beyond operational metrics. At its core, Hungry Harvest is a values-first organization. Whether it’s delivering with dignity to low-income families, reducing methane emissions by rescuing produce, or offering customers real-time delivery tracking via LogiNext’s white-labeled interface, the focus remains on doing good while doing business.

“Technology can be cold. But the right technology, deployed with empathy, can create warmth at scale,” said Sanghvi. “That’s what this partnership represents.”

LogiNext also received strong praise for its customer-centric approach—proactive support, seamless integration with Hungry Harvest’s evolving tech stack, and a shared ethos of continuous improvement.
