Kesan COVID-19: 3 Cara Peniaga Dan Pekerja Menangani Kemelesetan Ekonomi

Saya mendapat soalan yang ditanya kawan saya yang membuat perniagaan: “Apa yang saya boleh buat pada masa ini, Tuan?” dan saya memberikan pandangan yang sangat panjang. Untuk kefahaman konteks tajuk kali ini, soalan rakan saya diajukan pada zaman kegelisahan akibat  peningkatan COVID-19 dan kemelesetan ekonomi. 

Pada jangkaan pakar ekonomi, kemelesetan ekonomi akan berlarutan sehingga suku kedua ataupun ketiga untuk tahun 2020 dan banyak acara telah ditunda tarikhnya pada masa tersebut (kebanyakan acara ditunda sehingga Julai 2020 dan seterusnya). 

Setelah kawan saya memahami sedikit penyelesaian, saya merasakan mungkin bagus jika sebahagian jawapan saya diberikan pada laman pembaca Marketing In Asia jika dapat membantu. 

Berikut adalah 3 Cara Saya Pada Masa Kini Untuk Menangani Kemelesetan Ekonomi:

Cara 1: Untuk yang bekerja untuk syarikat (Employee) 

  • Bekerja keras untuk membina pasaran tempatan dan kurangkan perbelanjaan yang tidak perlu.
  • Fokus pada Bahan essential (keperluan makanan, kesihatan) dan perbelanjaan seharian anda buat masa kini.
  • Pemakanan yang sihat dan sentiasa menjaga kesihatan diri dan keluarga.  
  • Untuk mendapatkan perkembangan terkini mengenai COVID-19 di Malaysia, layari Portal Rasmi Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia dan aplikasi doctoroncall.com.my (untuk mengatasi situasi dan memastikan kesahihan berita yang menular di laman sosial).

Info Penerbangan (Flight). Jika boleh, elakkan daripada melancong ke luar negara buat masa kini, ataupun kalau melancong, bolehlah pergi ke kawasan yang di mana kesan COVID-19 tidak wujud. Untuk penerbangan sama ada melancong ataupun urusan kerja, maklumat telah disiarkan di akhbar The Star pada 29 Februari 2020, bahawa penerbangan balik penuh atau perubahan tarikh perjalanan hanya meliputi tempahan ke dan dari China sahaja buat masa kini.Pembatalan tanpa bayaran biasanya hanya digunakan untuk tempahan penginapan di China, Hong Kong dan Macau.

Untuk pengetahuan tambahan juga, sesetengah negara mungkin akan bertanya deklarasi kesihatan untuk faktor keselamatan dan kesahihan kesihatan, jadilah digalakkan untuk menyemak di laman web Kedutaan Negara yang anda hendak pergi sebelum membeli tiket penerbangan dan hotel. 

Cara 2: Kaji trend terkini dan menukar segmen pelanggan jika perlu [Bahagian ini adalah untuk yang menjalankan perniagaan (produk ataupun servis)]

  • Jika melihat trend terkini, selepas kajian saya menggunakan google trend search dan instagram hashtag, saya mendapati beberapa trend sedang berkembang secara berperingkat. 
  • Servis online fotografi, health on demand seperti Doctor On Call, Ubat tradisional untuk meningkatkan imun badan anda (your body immune system), dan deliveri secara tempatan (localized delivery). Untuk localized delivery, servis yang saya maksudkan seperti Foodpanda, GoGet.my adalah contoh di mana anda tidak perlu pergi terlalu jauh untuk menghantar barang dan mengurangkan risiko terkena sebarang jangkitan.
  • Untuk Industri servis pelancongan pula, organisasi pelancongan seperti MATTA mempunyai intipati positif walaupun mendapat kesan yang terburuk dari COVID-19 melalui pengumuman pesta pelancongan domestik (travel domestik fair) yang dinamakan “Matta Cuti-Cuti Malaysia” pada April 4-5 di dalam Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) untuk menarik pelancongan dalam negara sendiri.

Cara 3: Membina perniagaan anda di talian (online) secara lebih aktif 

  • Mencari peluang untuk membina perniagaan online yang tidak memerlukan banyak bantuan orang. 
  • Satu inisiatif untuk meningkat servis perkhidmatan online di mana saya membantu host ataupun pakar individu yang mempunyai skil yang kreatif, dan syarikat sosial enterprise menjana pendapatan tambahan melalui platform Airbnb Experience. 
  • Pembinaan komuniti secara talian juga diutamakan sama seperti situasi di sekolah di negara Cina, di mana pelajar-pelajar mengikuti kursus di online disebabkan faktor keselamatan dan tidak mahu ketinggalan di sekolah.  
  • Membina business online melalui Program seperti Bengkel eUsahawan, di mana anda bolehlah mempelajari untuk membuka minda anda untuk memahami perniagaan dan bagaimana menggunakan website, facebook atau perniagaan instagram dan kedai online yang memproses payment secara digital.  
  • Untuk perhubungan suara, bolehlah menggunakan aplikasi seperti Whatsapp, Dingtalk daripada Alibaba atau Facebook Messenger. 
  • Untuk menjayakan diri anda di online, maka skill yang diperlukan adalah membina komuniti pelanggan dan bakal pelanggan untuk membeli barang anda di talian, dan sentiasa bersama membantu pelanggan anda sebaik yang mungkin (ini untuk membina branding diri anda di online dan bakal pelanggan akan mengingati kebaikan servis anda di zaman yang susah). Contoh seperti gambaran di bawah (terima kasih kepada pembaca saya, En Kamarul Basar di atas sokongan). 
  • Untuk permulaan untuk memahami perniagaan online, anda bolehlah membaca di laman Go-ECommerce. 

Pendek kata, saranan pada kawan saya dan mungkin rakan-rakan sekalian adalah bersedia untuk mengatasi cabaran kali ini dan, membuka minda untuk meminta jaringan pertolongan (support network) dan berdoa semoga segala urusan dapat dipermudahkan.
