Sydney, September 18, 2024 — IMA B2B, a renowned marketing consultancy, has officially launched its new specialist event division, Echo Corporate Events, marking a pivotal moment in the company’s evolution in event management. Designed to deliver impactful, real-world experiences, Echo aims to break through the digital noise and establish deeper, more meaningful customer connections.

A New Era for Corporate Events

In a marketplace dominated by digital marketing strategies, Echo Corporate Events seeks to offer a refreshing alternative—immersive, face-to-face corporate experiences that amplify brand presence and create lasting impressions. Echo will manage the full spectrum of event services, from strategy and concept to seamless execution.

Jake Cush, Partner at IMA B2B, highlighted the significance of this launch, stating:

“The increasing demand for immersive experiences, combined with the decline in impact from purely digital marketing channels, makes it the perfect time to launch Echo as a specialist events business. IMA has managed events for more than two decades, and launching Echo as a dedicated events capability will help IMA capitalise on the growth opportunity to help our clients cut through in a cluttered market via engaging, creative, and strategic events.”

Leading the Charge: New General Manager – Events

At the helm of Echo Corporate Events is Cherie Farr, a seasoned event management professional with over 25 years of experience. Farr has been instrumental in the success of major events, such as Australia Day and Vivid, through her previous role as Event Supervisor & Logistics Producer at NSW Department of Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure.

On her new role, Farr commented:

“I’m delighted to be fronting this exciting dedicated capability and lead my team to create events that highlight the increasing trend that businesses are placing on personal customer engagement. Echo is strategically positioned to capitalise on this trend, offering its clients – including, but not limited to, traditional B2B engagements – a unique opportunity to stand out via immersive, creative events.”

Echo Corporate Events will focus on a diverse range of industries including retail, education, and technology. The division has already made a significant mark with prestigious projects for high-profile clients such as Lifeline, Royal Wolf, and Profectus Group.

Veronica Macdonald, CEO of Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney, praised Echo’s meticulous approach to event planning, noting:

“Our 007 Gala Event was a spectacular success, thanks to Echo’s meticulous planning and creative execution. Their ability to deliver such a high-calibre event while raising significant funds for a critical cause is a testament to their expertise and dedication.”
