Gage Goulding has joined CNN as an International Correspondent to be based in Seoul, the network announced today. He will be responsible for reporting on key stories in South Korea and across the Asia Pacific region for CNN’s linear and digital platforms.
An award-winning journalist with a wealth of experience in breaking news and reporting live from the front lines of major unfolding events, Goulding comes to CNN from KPRC 2 in Houston, Texas. In that role he covered some of the state’s biggest stories including high-profile criminal investigations, natural disasters, consumer issues and enterprise stories of national interest.

Named Best News Reporter by the Texas Association of Broadcasters in 2025, Goulding has received many awards for his reporting including a number of regional Emmy Awards and as a member of Edward R. Murrow Awards winning teams for Overall News Excellence.
Goulding previously held a variety of news positions at WBBH/WZVN in Fort Myers, FL; WTOV in Steubenville, OH; and KDKA in Pittsburgh, PA.
A native of Ligonier, Pennsylvania, Goulding graduated from Robert Morris University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism.
He will be relocating to Asia later this year.
