In an unprecedented movement towards battling women’s cancers, CLIRNET®, a leading medical knowledge platform, has unveiled its #SheWinsCancer campaign. This initiative, which coincided with International Women’s Day 2024, marks a significant stride in the global fight against cancer, emphasizing breast, cervical, uterine, and ovarian cancers. The campaign, which spanned from March 1st to March 10th, was not just a mere event but a beacon of hope and empowerment for women across the globe.

The cornerstone of this revolutionary campaign was DocTube™, CLIRNET®’s acclaimed public video platform. With a relentless dedication to spreading awareness and support, DocTube™ released over 1,000 informational videos produced by more than 500 leading Gynecologists and Oncologists from every corner of India. These videos, available in a variety of vernacular languages, were unveiled at an astounding pace of one every 15 minutes throughout the campaign, making complex medical knowledge accessible and understandable to all.

The campaign’s reach was nothing short of remarkable, recording an impressive 1+ million viewership and 6.5 million reach. This significant impact highlights the campaign’s effectiveness in spreading vital information and support across a wide audience. The enthusiasm and engagement of the viewers were particularly evident as they avidly consumed information about uterine cancer, signaling a profound need for quality information on this subject. Moreover, videos debunking common cancer myths and elucidating risk factors attracted considerable attention, underscoring the public’s thirst for reliable and actionable health information.

Esteemed medical professionals from major Indian cities such as Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata led this initiative. Their contributions provided depth and credibility, educating the public about cancer prevention, early screening, and the importance of community support in reducing mortality rates.

Mr. Saurav Kasera, Co-Founder of CLIRNET, reflected on the campaign’s importance, stating, ““With the burden of cancer cases reaching alarming heights, awareness and early intervention have become more critical than ever. The latest WHO estimates show over 20 million new global cases in 2022 alone, with India reporting over 1.4 million cases of which 50%+ impact women. At CLIRNET, we aim to directly tackle this by empowering women with knowledge. Our #SheWinsCancer campaign features insights from renowned specialists to educate women on symptoms, screening, prevention and support for the four major cancers impacting their health. Knowledge is power and through this campaign, we aim to equip Indian women and their family with the tools they need to gain the upper hand against cancer.”

The campaign also garnered support from celebrities like Padma Bhushan Singer Usha Uthup and industry giants such as ICICI Bank, illustrating the widespread backing for this noble cause.

The #SheWinsCancer campaign by CLIRNET® has set a new precedent in women’s health awareness, offering knowledge, support, and hope to countless individuals. This initiative stands as a testament to the power of collaboration, information, and the unwavering spirit of women fighting against cancer.
