Elan Media and Location Media Xchange Unite to Revolutionize Qatar’s Digital Advertising Realm

Elan Media, a leading player in outdoor advertising in Qatar, has formed a partnership with Location Media Xchange (LMX), which may significantly alter the landscape of digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising in the country. Advertising to a massive audience in Qatar has never been easier than with this groundbreaking relationship, which combines Elan Media’s innovative digital out-of-home (DOOH) inventory with LMX’s cutting-edge Supply Side Platform (SSP).

Venturing into the Middle Eastern Terrain

LMX, renowned for its cutting-edge enterprise software for Out-of-Home media owners, is setting its sights on the Middle Eastern market through this alliance. This strategic move reflects a broader shift in the region’s advertising preferences, transitioning from traditional to digital out-of-home formats.

Jaber Al Ansari, the CEO of ELAN Group, shed light on the significance of this partnership, remarking,“With over 300 screens available in our prDOOH inventory, ELAN Media is now launching phase two, introducing more Roadside DOOH and Location-Based inventory for DSPs and SSPs. This move aims to establish a robust programmatic media buying model in Qatar.” His words resonate with the ambition and scale of this initiative.

Charting New Territories

Al Ansari further elaborated on the expansion strategy, stating, “As prDOOH grows in the region, ELAN Media is excited to partner with Moving Walls, ensuring our reach extends beyond the GCC. This partnership is critical as Qatar hosts the 2024 Asian Football Cup, demonstrating our strategic capabilities in carrying programmatic advertising during the championship.” The Phase II expansion is set to introduce an additional 300 screens dedicated to programmatic planning and buying, significantly enriching the advertising landscape.

ELAN Media’s commitment is further underscored by its notable involvement in major events like the FIFA World Cup 2022 and the upcoming AFC Asian Cup in January 2024, aiming to provide unrestricted prDOOH access for Asian brands targeting diverse audiences.

Srikanth Ramachandran, the Founder and Group CEO at Moving Walls, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Our collaboration with Elan Media marks LMX’s entry into the Middle East—an important market undergoing a paradigm shift in the DOOH space. We look forward to shaping the future of DOOH in Qatar and building an extensive client base across the region.”

As this partnership between Elan Media and LMX unfolds, it heralds a transformative era for DOOH advertising in Qatar. It’s not merely about offering innovative solutions; it’s about expanding the reach and efficacy of programmatic advertising in the Middle East. The alliance between Elan Media and Location Media Xchange is more than a collaboration; it’s a visionary stride towards a digitally empowered advertising future in Qatar.
