As Malaysia celebrates its 67th Merdeka Day, Dettol Malaysia steps up to promote health and safety for over 50,000 citizens through its ‘Selangkah Lebih, Selangkah Kasih’ initiative. This thoughtful campaign is Dettol’s commitment to ensuring Malaysians enjoy the national celebrations with peace of mind, knowing that their health is protected.

A Trusted Legacy of Over 90 Years

For more than 90 years, Dettol has been a household staple in Malaysia, offering trusted germ protection that families have relied on through generations. From its humble beginnings to becoming a leading health and hygiene brand, Dettol continues to be at the forefront of community wellness, upholding a legacy of trust and protection.

Safeguarding Public Health During Large Gatherings

National events like Merdeka Day bring together masses, increasing the risk of germ transmission. Recognizing this, Dettol has made it its mission to raise awareness about hand hygiene, especially in crowded public spaces. The ‘Selangkah Lebih, Selangkah Kasih’ campaign is Dettol’s way of contributing to a healthier Malaysia.

Combatting Germs with ‘Selangkah Lebih, Selangkah Kasih’

Dettol’s hygiene squad will be present at the Merdeka Day celebration, distributing Dettol Hand Sanitizers and Antibacterial Wet Wipes to participants, while also disinfecting common areas with Dettol Disinfectant Spray, which is proven to kill 99.9% of bacteria and viruses. This proactive approach ensures that Malaysians can celebrate without compromising their health.
