KUALA LUMPUR, 15 May 2024 — In a dynamic effort to revolutionize the job-seeking landscape, SEEK (ASX:SEK), the parent company behind Asia’s leading online employment marketplaces Jobstreet and Jobsdb, has launched its innovative ‘Better Matches’ brand campaign in Malaysia. This regional campaign is part of SEEK’s overarching strategy to deliver superior job matches using cutting-edge AI technology.

A Creative Take on Job Matching

Inspired by AI-generated animals navigating the complex jungle of job seeking and hiring, the ‘Better Matches’ campaign aims to illustrate the power of AI in enhancing job relevance and personalization. The campaign, developed in collaboration with Talon Creative, features a series of animated films where animals are placed in mismatched jobs, leading to humorous and unexpected outcomes. These creative visuals are designed to highlight the challenges of job matching and the solutions provided by SEEK’s advanced AI technology.

Unifying Platforms

Across APAC The ‘Better Matches’ campaign coincides with the recent merger of Jobstreet, Jobsdb, and SEEK’s marketplace platforms across the Asia-Pacific region. This strategic move has resulted in a unified platform that leverages SEEK’s AI capabilities to deliver better job matches while maintaining the individual brands of Jobstreet and Jobsdb. The integration aims to enhance the job-seeking experience by providing more personalized and relevant job opportunities.

AI: The Game Changer

SEEK’s new platform deploys sophisticated AI models to assess talent suitability and provide highly personalized job recommendations. By processing data from various sources, including resumes, job ad descriptions, and employers’ past behaviors, the AI technology can swiftly and seamlessly match candidates with the most suitable job opportunities. This advanced matching system is particularly crucial in Malaysia’s evolving employment market, where the demand for specialized skills and tailored job roles is increasing.
