MIA 70 Rising Personalities On LinkedIn In Philippines You Should Follow In 2020

Follow them all today

“Tell your story to inspire other people to rise up and live their dreams.”

– Lailah Gifty Akita

Finally, the long wait is over. After more than a month of searching for Filipino LinkedIn users who give value on LinkedIn but have yet to be acknowledged, we now have the final list of MIA 70 Rising Personalities On LinkedIn In Philippines In 2020 You Should Follow.

The journey that has led to the final list has been a meaningful one for MIA – from receiving the nominations, to checking each profile and reading their content, to the deliberation process, and to everything else in between.

It has been a great experience to receive nominations, review them – and if only we could add them all as we found them all deserving – and communicate with them. It has been a rigorous process as it is not based on vanity metrics, as we truly want to acknowledge those who share valuable content and put them in, as we would call it, MIA’s spotlight.

To find out more on how MIA’s Rising 70 came about – what inspired it, and what our goal for doing this –  you may read the announcement we made in June here.

Here now is the list of MIA 70 Rising Personalities On LinkedIn In Philippines In 2020:

What tips can you share to those who are just starting out on LinkedIn?
My advice to those who are starting out on LinkedIn is just that… START, and don’t lose the passion.  Check your purpose: Why are you on LinkedIn? Focus on ‘adding value’ more than how LinkedIn can help you (which is really an outcome – you learn a lot from fellow professionals). With that intention of ‘adding value’, post, post, post content frequently as in 3-4x a day! Post original content – what’s in your mind or heart! Don’t think of what people will say or don’t get affected if your post has less engagement than others, your traction and break will come. Just post your authenticity and share your personal wealth – of knowledge, talents, advice, inspiration to others, experiences!

When you’re building your network, the first thought is to add people you already know in real life, but I like to challenge that thought by recommending that you connect with people in your ideal workplaces. Once you’ve established that initial connection, really focus on building relationships within your network by interacting with them and understanding what potential value you can bring to them as well. Sometimes even a like or share is a great value add already.

What tips can you share to those who are just starting out on LinkedIn?
When I was just starting to share on LinkedIn, I was always worried that my content will not be good enough for a professional audience. However, I soon realized that this kind of thinking is centered on me and my insecurities – not the impact I want to contribute to the world, and definitely not the people who I’d like to impact. In moments when I default back to these doubts, I ask myself, “What is my intent for creating this post? How aligned is this intent with my personal purpose? In what way can the insights from this content enable someone to make the impact they desire?” The answers to these questions remind me that the best content comes from a genuine desire to share one’s self and to be of service to others.

LinkedIn is a melting pot of professionals, decisions-makers, industry leaders, and businesspeople-in-the-making from all over the world. Think of yourself as a brand. Hook your target market with a powerful profile copy — one look at your profile is all it takes for people to connect with you or ignore you. This means that your personal life in other social media platforms should be separate from your LinkedIn professional life. Connect, collaborate, share relevant and timely information like a brand would. And like many brands now, be a storyteller. Share stories about your work, business, product or services on LinkedIn. And when you’re ready, work with me and write your first self-published book. Writing a book is one of the best ways to increase your authority in a certain field/practice.

What tips can you share to those who are just starting out on LinkedIn?
LinkedIn is such a wonderful platform for professionals to get inspired, share best practices and connect. I have never imagined I would be connected with the people I have now if it weren’t for this platform. My tips for anyone starting out: Engage. LinkedIn creates this amazing experience of being able to share and discover valuable content that can be beneficial to a professional or a business. Being active and connecting with people and groups through comments, messages or even just liking their posts greatly assists in your goal to engage in this platform.

Share. We all have experiences and stories to share. Even as simple as sharing an idea presents an opportunity for relevant discussion and learning which can ultimately boost your speed (and anyone else taking that idea or experience) towards any goal you may have professionally. Sharing also helps anyone who views your content as your message is heard across continents and countries, giving you the ability to positively influence more people than you can ever imagine!

Be consistent. Partnerships and real connections are built over time. As you consistently engage and share, you’ll see that you’ll build your community as they see more and more of the value you bring in your posts and/or comments. Given our current situation of needing to deal with uncertainty, consistent engagement offers certainty. The certainty of knowing that we are truly all in this together. Help more. Help first!

What tips can you share to those who are just starting out on LinkedIn?
It can be intimidating to think of content and to put yourself out there for others. It’s important to keep in mind that the decisions you make and what you do everyday generates wisdom. Your wins, no matter how small they seem, can serve as a gentle nudge for those who need it. The lessons you learn serve as research for you and for others as you continue your journey to success. Putting yourself out there is an exercise of vulnerability, which has been inspiring for many. We all start from somewhere and those are the stories that people need to hear.

Jan abdhelghany is a scammer . A lot of people have been looking for her in cabanatuan nueva ecija. She scammed several people thru illegal recruitment. She also scammed people through bitcoin. You should remove her from this list. It’s such a shame.
